This Top 5 Tuesday is all about My Must Have Items for Spring!
For once the sun is actually out in Houston, which is amazing because the past month has been super gloomy.
Spring brings so many things, warmer weather, pretty flowers, and best of all new fashion. There’s a few items that I’m all about this season and are must have’s for Spring.
Every girl needs a good pair of wedges, I prefer mine to be neutral so I can wear them with anything. Every once in awhile though, I’ll find the perfect pair of patterned wedges that I just have to have!
Rompers are so easy to throw on and look super cute without having to try too hard. Being a taller gal, Rompers are hit and miss with me depending on the length. I’ve had luck with Old Navy, Banana Republic, and some Charlotte Rouse ones. I’ve added a bunch of different styles and brands so that you can find one to fit you.
I absolutely love a good tote bag. One that doesn’t kill your shoulder, holds a ton of stuff, and obviously, is super cute. Tote bags are an essential for me as I tend to carry a ton of stuff. My mommy friends also love cute tote bags that can hold everything they could possibly need for themselves, as well as their tiny human!
Spring also means Wedding Season. I have back to back to back to back weddings, and I need a dress for all of them. (At least that’s what I tell my husband) Weddings are all different and you know with Texas weather, your outfit decision may have to change based on it. This season a lot of the weddings I am going to are outside, so I love a good flowly dress to stay cool during the ceremony and as I dance the night away!
Lastly, every Southern Girl absolutely NEEDS a great pair of shorts. It is way too hot down here to wear jeans all year. I’ve rounded up some shorts that I just love! Being a girl with thicker legs but a smaller waist, shorts can be pretty hard but the majority of these fit my body shape just right, and are really versatile. The Old Navy ones are by far my favorites!
